2-Day Express Kruger Safari: Maputo to Marloth Park This concise itinerary offers a quick but impactful Kruger experience, departing from Maputo and staying in Marloth Park. Day 1: Maputo to Kruger National Park (The Big Five) Early Morning: Your guide picks you up in Maputo for an early border crossing at Lebombo/Ressano Garcia. The Safari: Instead of checking in first, you head directly to Crocodile Bridge Gate for a full-day safari in an open vehicle. This is peak animal activity time! Mid-Day: Lunch at a rest camp inside Kruger (Lower Sabie), not included. Evening: Exit the park in the late afternoon and head to Marloth Park to check into your lodge. Dinner: A relaxed dinner at the lodge after a long, exciting day of sightings. Day 2: The Guided Bush Walk & Return to Maputo Dawn Arrival: Wake up early for the highlight of the day: a Guided Bush Walk. Led by armed rangers, you’ll leave the vehicle behind to track animals on foot, learning about the "Little Five," medicinal plants, and the art of tracking. Mid-Morning: Breakfast & Check-out Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and a final look at the Crocodile River before packing up. Afternoon: Private "Self-Drive" Safari & Return Board our private vehicle for a curated drive through the park’s hidden gems. Since we are in our own vehicle, we have the flexibility to stop whenever the guests want for photos or to linger at a specific sighting. Evening: Arrival in Maputo Enjoy a comfortable ride back through the Lebombo/Ressano Garcia border, arriving in Maputo in the early evening.
