2-Day Express Kruger Safari: Maputo to Marloth Park This concise itinerary offers a quick but impactful Kruger experience, departing from Maputo and staying in Marloth Park. Day 1: Maputo to Marloth Park & Afternoon Wildlife Our driver/guide will pick you up early from Maputo, heading directly to the Lebombo/Ressano Garcia border post for customs and immigration into South Africa. After clearing the border, you'll continue to Marloth Park (approx. 2-3 hours total travel). Check into your lodge and settle in. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed walk within Marloth Park itself, where animals like zebra and wildebeest roam freely while waiting for the pre-arranged Kruger National Park sunset drive. Dinner will be at your lodge. Day 2: Full-Day Kruger Safari & Return to Maputo Wake up early for your full-day Kruger National Park safari. Your guide will pick you up for a short drive to the Crocodile Bridge Gate. Spend the entire day exploring the park in an open safari vehicle, maximizing your chances of spotting the Big Five and diverse wildlife. Lunch will be at a rest camp inside Kruger. In the late afternoon, you'll exit the park and meet your private transfer for the journey back to Maputo, arriving in the evening.
